SNF Hires is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Silverton, Ohio. The ADON will support the Director of Nursing in clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote high-quality resident care.

This role targets a hands-on, organized nurse leader focused on staff development and resident outcomes. The position emphasizes leadership of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, with a strong commitment to survey readiness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN or LPN license (RN strongly preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical compliance and survey readiness.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with day-to-day clinical operations.
• Support oversight of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participate in staff scheduling, audits, and clinical rounds.
• Monitor quality measures, incident reports, and clinical outcomes.
• Assist with survey readiness, inspections, and plan of correction processes.
• Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of nursing staff.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
