Job summary

Centervillerehab in Dayton, OH is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing the clinical operations and ensuring high-quality resident care. The ADON plays a vital leadership role in promoting a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement in resident care.

The role requires a nursing degree, RN license, CPR, and several years of supervisory experience in long-term care, with strong knowledge of state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• RN Licensure in practicing state is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in health care facilities.
• CPR certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day Nursing Services operations.
• Communicate policies to staff and monitor practice.
• Participate in QAPI and quality improvement activities as needed.
• Attend or participate in facility committees and promote teamwork and collaboration.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident needs and ensure care quality.
