Job summary

Garden Park Care Center in Cincinnati, OH seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. The role is Monday–Friday with on-call rotation, focused on supporting staff, maintaining clinical standards, and fostering a positive environment for residents and employees.

The ADON will assist the DON with daily operations, lead and educate nursing staff, participate in staffing and compliance tasks, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio nursing license in good standing.
• RN preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• PointClickCare (PCC) experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Support the DON with day-to-day nursing operations
• Provide leadership, guidance, and education to nursing staff
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and employee performance
• Help maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in surveys, audits, quality improvement, and clinical initiatives
• Monitor resident care and documentation
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training nursing staff
• Participate in the nursing leadership on-call rotation
