Job summary
Reliant Care Management Company is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead and mentor the nursing team, oversee patient care, and ensure regulatory compliance within HIPAA.
The ADON will develop and implement nursing policies, coordinate with physicians and therapists, monitor performance, and guide staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality resident care.
A strong focus on total quality management, wound care, MDS planning, and staff development is expected.
Qualifications
- Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
- Previous DON or ADON experience.
- Wound care experience and knowledge of Medicare A & B.
- Experience with MDS/Care Plans and regulatory compliance.
- CNA/CMT instructor certification and strong regulatory record.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing department, including staff management and patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies/procedures to ensure regulations compliance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate performance of nursing staff.
- Ensure adherence to resident rights and HIPAA compliance.
- Provide leadership to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment.
