Wasatch Behavioral Health is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Vantage Point North Adolescents Program in American Fork, Utah. You will support teens in short-term crisis care, administering medications, documenting care, and coordinating with healthcare partners in a dynamic setting.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $23.03–$41.29, with Sunday-Thursday scheduling and 29 hours per week. Utah RN or LPN licensure is required, and Spanish speakers may see a wage increase.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Current Utah RN or LPN license.
• Mental health experience preferred.
• Must pass drug screen, MVR review, and criminal background check.
• Must obtain Utah Office of Licensing BCI clearance after hire.
• Must provide official licensure documentation upon conditional offer.
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor psychiatric medications; assess for side effects and adverse reactions.
• Complete documentation including progress notes, orders, and admissions paperwork.
• Review labs, interpret preliminary results, and communicate updates to medical staff.
• Serve as liaison with hospitals, pharmacies, residential programs, and other healthcare partners.
• Conduct mental status and basic physical evaluations (vitals, BMI, appearance, mood).
• Support clients with medication programs, pill box prep, and prior authorizations.
• Coordinate care with clients, guardians, prescribers, and insurance as needed.
• Provide educational groups promoting healthy habits.
