Wasatch Behavioral Health in Provo, UT is seeking a Part-Time Human Service Worker for the New Vista Day Program for Adolescents. You will support teens in a structured therapeutic environment and help them develop coping skills. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-6:00 PM; compensation $17.50-$22.17/hour DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm, patient, and grounded in challenging situations.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.
• Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate support, supervision, and encouragement to adolescents in a structured therapeutic environment.
• Facilitate structured activities, skills groups, and daily routines to build emotional regulation and coping skills.
• Assist with therapeutic programming for youth navigating trauma and behavioral health challenges.
• Help maintain a safe, supportive environment and assist with crisis intervention when needed.
• Document client interactions, progress, behaviors, and observations accurately.
• Collaborate with therapists and staff to support individualized care plans.
• Model positive behavior and healthy coping strategies to help youth grow.
• Encourage youth to practice new skills and work toward success at home, school, and in the community.
