Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Vantage Point North Adolescents Program in American Fork, Utah. You will support teens in short-term crisis care, administer medications, and coordinate care with families and providers.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $23.03–$41.29, DOE and licensure, with a Sunday-Thursday schedule and 29 hours per week. Utah RN or LPN license is required, and background checks are standard.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited college.
• Current Utah RN or LPN license.
• Mental health experience preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen, motor vehicle record review, and criminal background check.
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor psychiatric medications; assess for side effects and adverse reactions.
• Complete documentation including progress notes, doctor's orders, and admissions paperwork.
• Review labs, interpret preliminary results, and communicate essential updates to medical staff.
• Serve as a liaison with hospitals, pharmacies, residential programs, and other healthcare partners.
• Conduct mental status and basic physical evaluations (vitals, BMI, appearance, mood, etc.).
• Support clients with medication programs, pill box prep, and prior authorizations.
• Coordinate care with clients, guardians, prescribers, and insurance when needed.
• Provide educational groups promoting positive health habits.
• Assist with medical appointments for clients and monitor daily wellbeing.
• Maintain medication inventory, audit readiness, and ensure accurate documentation.
