Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Adolescent Unit on a part-time Day shift (7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.). The RN coordinates care, supervises LPNs and MHTs, and strives to deliver safe, age-appropriate psychiatric care for teens.

The role requires an Michigan RN license, a nursing degree, and at least 3 years in a psychiatric setting. Rotating holidays and weekends apply. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
• RN license issued by the State of Michigan.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaboration with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care.
• Oversee and direct LPNs and MHTs on their units to ensure patient safety and needs are met.
• Work part-time day shift and participate in rotating holidays and every other weekend, as applicable.
