Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Older Adult Unit. Shifts are 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

You will coordinate patient care with the health team, supervise LPNs and MHTs, and ensure safety and needs are met for older adults.  Qualified candidates will have an RN license in Michigan, and a minimum of 3 years in a psychiatric care setting is preferred. Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program (RN).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Michigan RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care with the health team in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care.
• Oversee and direct LPNs and MHTs on their units to ensure patient safety and needs are met.
• A passion to work with older adults is ideal.
