Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health, a UHS facility, is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift. The position runs 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and involves coordinating patient care with the health team and directing LPNs and MHTs on the units.

The hospital is a 144-bed behavioral health facility providing inpatient services, with programs for adolescents, adults, and older adults. Michigan RN licensure and psychiatric experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license issued by the State of Michigan is required.
• 3+ years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• RNs coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaboration with health team members.
• Oversee and direct LPNs and MHTs to ensure patient safety and needs are met.

Education

Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program
