Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Adolescent Unit on a part-time night shift (7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.). The role involves coordinating care with the health team and supervising LPNs and MHTs to meet patient needs and safety.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited nursing degree, Michigan RN license, and at least three years in a psychiatric setting; BS preferred. Evening/night rotation and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BS degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• RN license issued by the State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care with the health team.
• Oversee LPNs and MHTs to ensure patient safety and patient needs are met.
• Working with teens on the adolescent unit is ideal.
