Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent.
• Virginia teaching license in content area required.
• Minimum three years of classroom experience preferred.
• Adherence to State and Federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally appropriate classroom instruction aligned to IEP/IIP goals.
• Implement Behavior Management Plan and document behavior progress.
• Assess academic achievement and adjust instructional planning to maximize learning.
• Maintain communication with staff, parents/guardians, and local education agencies.
• Participate in professional development and training.
• Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
