Job summary

Guidelight Health in Massachusetts is seeking an Education Facilitator to support adolescents in our PHP and IOP programs. You will help students stay on track with their educational goals while they receive treatment.

This part-time role (approximately 15 hours per week, 12pm-3pm) collaborates with schools, families, therapists, and teachers to tailor curricula, monitor progress, and ensure a seamless blend of education and therapy for our youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, special education, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with adolescents in behavioral health or education.
• Experience in planning and facilitating curriculum for diverse learners.
• Understanding of how mental health affects learning.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable with adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with schools and families to support educational progress during treatment.
• Provide individualized educational support and adapt curricula.
• Liaise between schools and Guidelight Health staff for academic needs.
• Develop strategies aligning education with therapy goals.
• Foster a learning environment supporting academics and emotional well-being.
• Conduct assessments and document student progress.
• Maintain structured yet flexible learning environments.
• Collaborate with mental health professionals to integrate services.
• Guide adolescents on study habits and time management.
