Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Mental Health Associate I to join the Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville, IL. This part-time evening position (20 hours, 3:00-11:30pm) offers an hourly pay range and rotates weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities include facilitating groups, encouraging patient participation in therapy, supervising patients for safety, and contributing to treatment planning with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Behavioral Health related field is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a non-Behavioral Health field with at least one year of behavioral health experience is acceptable.
• Ability to maintain information as highly confidential and uphold professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates didactic, educational and unit/program community groups within assigned treatment programs.
• Encourages and facilitates patients’ participation in therapeutic activities.
• Supervises patients to ensure their safety and involvement in treatment.
• Provides one-to-one supervision to maintain patient safety.
• Conducts unit rounds and updates precautions records in real time.
• Ensures precise labeling of precautions records.
• Orients new patients to unit, program and milieu and introduces staff to families.
• Participates in treatment planning with the interdisciplinary team to identify problems and plan discharge.
• Completes patient, program and department documentation and performs clerical tasks to support operations.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates updates to the charge person and family members.
