Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a Mental Health Associate I for Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville. The role involves direct patient care for individuals with mental health disorders, and participation in treatment planning and group facilitation.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health or a related field (or a non-behavioral health degree with one year of behavioral health experience).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Behavioral Health or related field.
• Non-Behavioral Health degree requires at least one year of behavioral health experience.
• Maintain information as highly confidential.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and seek supervision.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate groups and supervise patient participation in therapeutic activities.
• Provide one-to-one supervision to ensure patient safety.
• Orient new patients and hand off information between units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on treatment planning and discharge planning.
• Complete patient, program, and department documentation.
