Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Mental Health Associate II for the Evanston Hospital location. This part-time position (32 hours/week) offers an evening shift from 3:00PM to 11:30PM with rotating weekends and some holidays.
You will provide direct care to patients with psychiatric disorders, participate in treatment planning, precept new staff, and maintain documentation in accordance with department procedures. A bachelor's in behavioral health and at least one year of experience are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral health.
- At least 1 year of behavioral health experience.
- Maintain information as highly confidential and professional boundaries.
- CPR and CPI certifications required within 90 days of hire and ongoing.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct care to patients with psychiatric disorders and participates in treatment planning and implementation.
- Precepts new employees on the unit and trains new Behavioral Health Associates to conduct groups.
- Maintains documentation according to department/organization procedures.
- Supports the maintenance of therapeutic milieu and ensures patient safety and well-being.
