Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists is hiring an Admixture Tech II to prepare sterile and non-sterile medications, perform drug calculations, and maintain rigorous records under supervision. The role requires IV admixture experience, PPE proficiency, and strong collaboration with Pharmacy Operations and Clinical staff.

Travel for floats up to 75–100% weekly may be required to meet clinic needs. A Pharmacy Technician certification and HIPPA compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Professional pharmacy technician certification preferred; PTCB certification beneficial.
• Experience with IV sterile admixture and hazardous drug handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review orders, calculate drug measurements for admixture.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications per prescription.
• Don PPE and perform aseptic preparation.
• Maintain records for trials, inventories, and waste.
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing, and procurement to ensure medication availability.
