Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists is seeking an Admixture Tech II to prepare sterile and non-sterile medications, manage drug inventories, and support clinical operations. This role requires accuracy in order review, calculations, and aseptic technique under supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a CPhT certification with at least one year of admixture experience and the ability to travel to meet clinic needs. Strong computer skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) is required; preferably/essential.
• IV sterile admixture experience is preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience as a pharmacy or admixture technician.
• Ability to work remotely effectively as required.
• Strong attention to detail and terminology familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for accuracy and quantity.
• Perform calculations for drug measurements.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered.
• Don PPE for aseptic preparation of hazardous drugs.
• Maintain documentation and inventories of medications.
• Order, stock, and dispense medical supplies.
• Monitor temperatures of ambient and refrigerated drugs.
• Travel 75-100% as a float to meet clinic needs.
