Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking an Admixture Tech II to perform complex technical duties preparing hazardous and nonhazardous medications under the supervision of the dispensing practitioner. This role includes sterile and non-sterile preparation, PPE handling, and inventory management across locations, with 75%-100% travel.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, a professional pharmacy technician certification (PTCB), and at least one year of admixture

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for accuracy and determine products required.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered, in a timely manner.
• Maintain records/logs for clinical research trials, waste, and drug temperatures.
• Admixture tech floats travel to meet clinic needs 75%-100% weekly.
