Job summary

Acacia Network is seeking an Intake Specialist in Bronx, NY to perform psychosocial intakes, coordinate admissions, and support the MAT program. You will work closely with front office staff, medical teams, and clinicians to ensure timely assessments and service access.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Human Services; Bachelor's preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in an OASAS-licensed program.
• Valid CASAC certification required.
• Knowledge of Nextgen and Avatar EHR systems.
• Familiarity with LOCADTR 3.0 and Lighthouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct substance abuse and mental health assessments using validated tools.
• Screen clients and determine readiness for clinical assessment.
• Coordinate intakes and medical appointments as needed.
• Assist with billing and financial clearance workflows.
• Maintain client records and report admissions/discharges in PAS systems.
• Provide client education on treatment services and program rules.
