Job summary

Acacia Network in New York seeks a dedicated CASAC Counselor to provide counseling in an integrated outpatient program. You will perform SUD screening, assessment, treatment planning, and individual and group counseling.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, conduct crisis intervention, and ensure documentation and referrals are coordinated to support client outcomes. Must meet certification requirements and demonstrate cultural competence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate Degree preferred.
• Valid unrestricted OASAS CASAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling in an integrated outpatient program.
• Perform SUD diagnostic screening, assessment, and treatment planning.
• Conduct crisis intervention, patient education and case management.
• Coordinate referrals and track client progress with supervision.
