KidsPeace seeks an Admissions Specialist for the Hospital to handle admissions from referral to completion. This full-time role requires a customer-focused approach within a compassionate team and a strong understanding of the continuum of care.

Formación

• Associate Degree required (60+ credits)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health or related field preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
• Some experience with acute emotionally challenged children/adolescents preferred
• Must possess basic PC knowledge and strong organizational skills
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Responsabilidades

• Process all admissions to KidsPeace Children's Hospital from referral to completed admission
• Maintain knowledge of the KidsPeace continuum of care to ensure timely processing of admissions
• Assist callers in finding appropriate programs for clients not accepted at KidsPeace

Position Summary

• Admissions Specialists are responsible for processing all admissions to the KidsPeace Children's Hospital from referral to completed admission.
• This individual will possess a working knowledge of the KidsPeace continuum of care, will be customer-focused and mission-driven, thereby ensuring timely processing of admissions to KidsPeace National Centers.
• The Admissions Specialist will develop and demonstrate a working knowledge of mental health delivery systems to assist callers in finding appropriate programs for clients not accepted at KidsPeace.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate Degree required (60+ credits) ; Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health or related field preferred.
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)
• Some experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred.
• Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
• Excellent organization abilities required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
