KidsPeace seeks an Admissions Specialist to manage all admissions to the KidsPeace Children’s Hospital, from referral to completion. You will apply knowledge of the continuum of care and stay customer-focused to ensure timely admissions to KidsPeace National Centers.

Ideal candidates have a relevant degree, bilingual abilities, and experience with emotionally challenged youth. Excellent organizational skills and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

• Associate degree with 60+ credits required; Bachelor’s in mental health or related field preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Experience with acutely emotionally challenged youths preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate knowledge of the KidsPeace continuum of care and ensure timely admissions.

Position Summary

• Admissions Specialists are responsible for processing all admissions to the KidsPeace Children's Hospital from referral to completed admission.
• This individual will possess a working knowledge of the KidsPeace continuum of care, will be customer-focused and mission-driven, thereby ensuring timely processing of admissions to KidsPeace National Centers.
• The Admissions Specialist will develop and demonstrate a working knowledge of mental health delivery systems to assist callers in finding appropriate programs for clients not accepted at KidsPeace.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required (60+ credits) ; Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health or related field preferred.
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)
• Some experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred.
• Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
• Excellent organization abilities required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
