Job summary

KidsPeace seeks an Admissions Specialist for the Hospital to handle admissions from referral to completion. This full-time role requires a customer-focused approach within a compassionate team and a strong understanding of the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required (60+ credits)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health or related field preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
• Some experience with acute emotionally challenged children/adolescents preferred
• Must possess basic PC knowledge and strong organizational skills
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

• Process all admissions to KidsPeace Children's Hospital from referral to completed admission
• Maintain knowledge of the KidsPeace continuum of care to ensure timely processing of admissions
• Assist callers in finding appropriate programs for clients not accepted at KidsPeace
