Job summary

Meadows Behavioral Health is hiring a mid-level admissions team member to guide prospective patients through the admissions process with compassion and efficiency. You will handle inbound calls, digital inquiries, and screenings, verify insurance benefits, and coordinate intake logistics to ensure timely and appropriate placements.

The role requires strong communication, empathy for distressed callers, and experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in healthcare, behavioral health, insurance, or admissions call center; 1–2 years in behavioral healthcare admissions preferred.
• Working knowledge of behavioral health services and levels of care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle emotional or distressed callers with empathy.
• CRM data entry and Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound and digital inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Collect initial caller information and determine next steps.
• Identify callers meeting admission criteria and guide to appropriate level of care.
• Facilitate admission into the program when criteria are met.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
• Provide information about facilities and company policies to callers.
• Collaborate with internal departments to schedule admissions.
• Manage various call types with minimal supervision.
• Support onboarding and peer learning; document all interactions.
