Job summary

Boca Recovery Center in Springfield, MA seeks an Admissions Representative to manage inquiry calls, perform initial screenings, and enter data into Salesforce while representing Boca with empathy and professionalism.

You will coordinate admissions with a multidisciplinary team, ensure compliant handling of PHI, and guide patients and families through the admission process, with a focus on clear information and compassionate support.

Qualifications

• At least one year of admissions coordination experience in a chemical dependency treatment setting preferred.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions process.
• Conduct initial telephone screenings of potential patients and referral sources.
• Manage inbound inquiry calls and explain the treatment program and admission process.
• Provide patients and families with information to aid decision-making and admission readiness.
• Overcome objections by identifying concerns and offering resolutions.
• Input accurate demographic and admissions data into Salesforce and maintain lead tracking and follow-up logs.
• Represent the facility to patients, referral sources, and agencies in a professional, compassionate manner.
• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to support admissions and handoffs.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with privacy policies.
