Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care admissions and/or marketing.
• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English clearly.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Able to interact tactfully with residents, families, staff and external agencies.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Answer referrals promptly and coordinate admissions.
• Work with physicians and discharge planners for smooth transitions.
• Market the facility to referral sources to gain new business.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, and discharge planners.
• Recruit and credential new physicians for the facility.
• Complete admission paperwork promptly and ensure required documents are on file.
• Verify payer sources and clinical approval prior to admission.
• Coordinate investigations of concerns and communicate with the Administrator.
• Meet with community organizations and promote public relations.
