Job summary

SIUE is seeking an Admissions and Records Coordinator to oversee the admissions processing unit, supervise staff, and ensure timely, accurate processing of undergraduate, graduate, and international admissions. The role involves coordinating cross-functional activities, guiding procedural improvements, and serving as liaison for Banner and Slate systems.

The position requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic university

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or administrative roles in admissions and enrollment.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines without direct supervision.
• Familiarity with admissions processing systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct oversight and supervision of staff in the admissions processing unit, including hiring and performance management.
• Coordinates activities of staff evaluating graduate and international admissions.
• Sets goals and allocates resources for processing roles.
• Ensures unit compliance with admissions deadlines and procedures.
• Develops and updates processing procedures and training requirements.
• Liaises with university committees on Banner, Slate, and admissions processes.
