Job summary

Job Description

Working from early November through early March, Seasonal readersare responsible for reviewing applications. To meet reading goals,the Seasonal Reader must be able to devote a minimum of 25hours/week to the application review process and attends a trainingsession in early November. Seasonal Readers may choose to workremotely or on campus extending from November to March. SeasonalReaders must maintain communication with the Admissions LeadershipTeam and be responsive to guidance and feedback. To read onlineapplications, the Seasonal Reader must have access to high-speedinternet in a private space.

Responsibilities
  • Attend training sessions in early November and participate inthe full application reading cycle from November to March
  • Review first-year applications, including high schooltranscripts, standardized test scores, personal essays,recommendation letters, and other application materials
  • Submit detailed application evaluations
  • Maintain consistent communication with the AdmissionsLeadership Team and follow specific instructions andprocedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and based ondepartmental need.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
