Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is hiring an Intake Coordinator for Greater Phoenix, AZ. You will oversee admissions, ensure service authorizations in Therap, and coordinate documents for new admissions while maintaining records for existing individuals.

The role requires knowledge of intake processes, Medicaid/SS, ICD-10 codes, and Microsoft Office, with Therap experience a plus. Starting pay is $26 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Knowledge of local/regional/state regulatory operations.
• Experience with intake and admissions processes.
• Familiarity with social security and Medicaid.
• Working knowledge of ICD-10 codes.
• Therap experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point person for all admissions into programs.
• Assure service authorizations in Therap are created and maintained.
• Gather documents for new admissions.
• Attend pre-placement meetings to collect necessary documents.
• Enroll/admit individuals into Therap.
• Collaborate with billing and regional offices to troubleshoot billing issues.
• Generate billing data from Therap to billing specialist as needed.
• Cooperate with licensing and department staff during inspections or inquiries.
