Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
• Two years admissions experience preferred.
• LVN or RN license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions process to ensure a positive experience for residents, families and supporting staff.
• Plan and monitor daily admissions operations to meet census goals.
• Admit patients to the health care facility and verify admission criteria.
• Coordinate with Director of Nursing and Case Manager to ensure bed availability and appropriate admissions.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and HIPAA compliance.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings and liaison with physicians, social workers, and discharge planners.
