Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies seeks an Admissions Specialist to oversee admissions for residential facilities and recovery homes in Sheridan and Cheyenne. You will support patients and treatment staff while building relationships with referral sources and community partners.

Responsibilities include scheduling admissions, coordinating transportation, ensuring documentation, assisting with Medicaid/Health Insurance enrollment, and data entry in EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years experience in customer service, human services, or related field.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Suite and databases.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage the admissions process for all residential facilities and recovery homes in Sheridan & Cheyenne.
• Coordinate transportation for patient admission and discharges with referral sources.
• Communicate patient information with the Treatment Team and ensure documentation is complete.
• Assist patients with Medicaid/ Behavioral Health coverage applications and health insurance enrollment.
• Enter data in Electronic Health Record systems and maintain waitlists for residential services.
• Provide program information to internal and external inquiries and support billing coordination.
