Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies seeks a licensed mental health professional to join our Sheridan clinic in a full-time role. The position includes day shifts, some weekend and on-call rotations, and up to 25% travel for outreach and collaboration with partners.

You will deliver individual counseling and group education, develop treatment plans, document progress, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team in a residential treatment and outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Masterb4s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or related field from CACREP/CORE/CSWE accredited program.
• Fully or Provisionally licensed as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LAT in Wyoming or eligible for licensure out-of-state.
• Meet qualifications for substance abuse professional/clinician per Wyoming standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and desktop publishing.
• Excellent time management to meet deadlines; organized and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Complete social histories, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries promptly.
• Provide individual counseling and facilitate educational groups; chart activities.
• Develop educational curricula for group settings with patients and families; include prevention education.
• Assist patients in understanding and completing therapeutic change objectives.
• Coordinate services with staff, community resources, and referral sources.
• Attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, and clinical supervision.
• Deliver in-person and Telehealth sessions weekly.
• Other duties as assigned.
