Job summary

Acacia Network seeks an Admissions Intake professional in Dunkirk, NY to perform psychosocial intakes for the MAT program, coordinate with clinical teams, and complete comprehensive assessments. Qualifications

• Associates Degree inHuman Services; Bachelors preferred.
• 3+ years’ work experience in OASAS licensed program.
• CASAC certification required; valid/unrestricted.
• Knowledge of LOCADTR 3.0 and Lighthouse for dual enrollment.
• Experience with EHR systems like Nextgen/Avatar.
• Strong organizational, communication and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct substance abuse and mental health assessments using standardized tools and best practices (MI, EBP, etc).
• Complete phone screenings and assess client suitability for clinical assessment.
• Coordinate intakes and medical appointments as needed.
• Document and track referrals; ensure billing and financial clearances.
• Maintain client IDs, comprehensive psychosocial assessments, and reporting in PAS 44/45.
• Explain treatment service agreements and obtain signatures.
• Contribute to monthly orientation groups for new admissions.
• Monitor Census reconciliation between Lighthouse/Central Registry and CDS.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and participate in supervision.
