Rogers Behavioral Health in Wisconsin is seeking an Intake Screener to independently manage inquiries and perform admission assessments for potential patients. You will explain access to Rogers’ services, gather demographic and insurance information, and ensure accurate data entry in the admission system.

The role requires strong customer service and health care experience, with eligibility to collaborate across departments, participate in on-call schedules, and adhere to HIPAA and EMTALA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in human services.
• Minimum 2 years’ healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inquiries to determine next steps for access to Rogers services.
• Complete admission assessments with potential patients or representatives.
• Adhere to policies and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Connect patients with outside resources when indicated.
• Collaborate with internal departments for access to care.
