Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking an Intake Specialist to support the intake process and welcome clients upon arrival. The role involves coordinating admissions, preliminary assessments, and ensuring required paperwork is completed efficiently.

You will liaise with families, arrange tours, and work with clinical staff to plan treatment schedules, while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use required computer programs.
• 1–2 years of experience in a patient care environment in behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with client/family of potential admissions to address questions and concerns.
• Coordinate facility tours with clients and families who are potential admissions.
• Interface with remote admissions team and on-site clinical team for approvals and travel plans.
• Establish professional rapport with clients to ensure a welcoming arrival.
• Support intake process including assessment and bed placement, and search client belongings for prohib items.
