Job summary

Nationwide Healthcare Services is seeking an Admissions Director in the Philadelphia area to drive census growth and raise community awareness through hospital referrals and strong relationships with senior housing facilities and other partners.

This role focuses on managing inquiries, coordinating admissions presentations and tours, and expediting the admissions process while maintaining compliance with Medicare and Medicaid regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Long Term Care experience as an Admissions Director preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inquiry process.
• Handle inquiry calls from hospitals, families, and others and schedule appointments with presentation, tour and closing.
• Maintain updated bed availability and facility services information.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospital accounts and community contacts.
• Compile and distribute admission papers and ensure proper data entry into the system.
• Help expedite admissions for emergencies.
• Participate in meetings to update staff on admissions, room changes, discharges and tours.
• Communicate special needs of new admissions to staff for smooth transitions.
