Groups Recover Together is seeking an Admissions Counselor to lead the treatment team alongside providers, care navigators, and administrators. You will coordinate decisions about members’ treatment and support medication management in a fully virtual model.

You will conduct intake and clinical assessments, document progress in our EMR, and ensure admission compliance. Strong ethics, teamwork, and compassion are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have full licensure in a recognized SUD discipline (LADC, LCSW/LISW, LCAC, LMFT, LPCC/LMHC) with ability to obtain reciprocity in other states.
• Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting.
• High comfort level with technology (EMR, email, software, mobile apps).
• Access to reliable internet and strong WiFi at remote location.
• Committed to member success with strong ethics and boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead the treatment team alongside providers, care navigators, and administrators.
• Coordinate decisions about members’ treatment and support medication management.
• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate appropriateness for the program.
• Complete clinical assessments as assigned each day.
• Provide individual support and crisis intervention as needed and coordinate with outside resources.
• Document care progress in the EMR and ensure compliance with admission requirements.
