Job summary

Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, PA, is seeking a full-time Admissions Counselor to recruit high school students within an assigned geographic territory. You will cultivate interest, develop outreach plans, and deliver presentations to promote the College’s offerings and campus community.

Responsibilities include travel planning, frequent communication across channels, and coordinating campus recruitment efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience in a collegiate Admissions office preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Frequent travel including overnight trips.
Experience with high school students a plus.
Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational, and listening skills.
Ability to remain patient and professional in complex situations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
Learn Slate, Jenzabar, and similar admissions software.

Responsibilities

Cultivate interest from prospective students in attending Mount Aloysius.
Develop and implement recruitment and outreach plans for assigned areas.
Coordinate travel and outreach efforts to recruit diverse student applicants.
Provide personalized communication to prospective students across channels.
Deliver frequent presentations to small groups to promote the College’s offerings.
