Centura College in Newport News, VA is seeking an Admissions Representative to enroll students for our hands-on programs in Allied Health and Skilled Trades. The role requires prospect outreach, campus events, and meeting enrollment targets while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced campus environment.

Responsibilities include evaluating applicants, conducting calls and meetings, updating Campus Nexus records, and collaborating with departments to maximize inquiry flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse individuals.
• Strong multi-tasking and time management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-oriented, quick-thinking, and organized approach to problem-solving and achieving goals.
• Proven experience in sales or customer service, demonstrating the ability to build relationships and close opportunities.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a willingness to learn new software as needed.
• Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required to fulfill job responsibilities and support recruitment efforts.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and enroll qualified prospective students for academic programs.
• Conduct outreach via calls, emails, and meetings to promote enrollment.
• Achieve high student start rates by meeting enrollment targets.
• Collaborate with other departments and participate in recruitment events.
• Manage inquiries and follow up for orientation and enrollment.
• Record activities in Campus Nexus and update Contact History.
• Provide customer service and address routine and complex issues.
• Attend events and flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Adhere to Admissions Policies and Procedures and be available for flexible hours.
