Job summary

Cumberland Heights Foundation is seeking an Admissions Specialist to guide patients and families through the admissions process. You will evaluate referrals, discuss treatment options, costs, and likely duration under clinical supervision, ensuring a smooth, compassionate intake experience.

The role requires a CPRS or BA/BS in a related field, with a preference for LADAC pursuit and at least one year in behavioral healthcare with addictions exposure.

Qualifications

• CPRS or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.
• Active pursuit of LADAC preferred.
• Minimum of one year in behavioral healthcare with addictions experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Screens inquiry calls and conducts assessments to determine admission appropriateness.
• Communicates treatment options and probable financial responsibility to clients.
• Maintains scheduled appointments in a timely and professional manner.
• Assesses probable program efficacy and makes referrals as needed under supervision.
• Collaborates with admissions, benefits, clinical, medical, and UR staff.
• Documents the admissions process timely and accurately.
