Qualifications

• 1+ years of administrative experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass State of Georgia criminal background and driving record checks.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with family members and potential clients about admissions and items to bring.
• Available to receive calls afterhours, on holidays and weekends.
• Gathers financial and insurance information promptly and securely.
• Communicates effectively with the billing company.
• Completes phone intake screenings and uploads results into the EHR.
• Coordinates with medical and clinical staff to assess incoming clients.
• Meets with families and prospective clients to describe the program and services offered.
• Maintains admissions trackers and traffic reports.
• Follows admissions process for step-by-step details.
• Visits treatment facilities and hospitals to discuss referrals and provides updates to leadership.
• Completes necessary paperwork prior to client intake.
• Treats clients with dignity and communicates respectfully.
• Assists with client transport as necessary.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient satisfaction efforts for admissions.
• Sends updates on new admissions and estimated times of arrival to staff.
