Responsibilities

• Patient Intake and Admissions: Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective patients and families, providing accurate and empathetic information about admissions.
• Initial screenings and assessments via phone to determine eligibility and readiness for admission.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to review patient information for appropriate placement.
• Coordinate admission dates and ensure all necessary documentation is completed prior to arrival.
• Work with insurance verification teams to confirm coverage and explain financial responsibilities.
• Schedule assessments and intake appointments with clear, ongoing communication to departments.
• Provide emotional support and maintain professional communication with referral sources and families.
• Record and maintain patient records in the admissions database; track inquiries and admissions metrics.
• Ensure HIPAA confidentiality and represent the center professionally to referral sources and the community.
