CommuniCare Family of Companies in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Full Time Admissions Coordinator to manage admissions, complete required paperwork, and ensure bed availability for residents in our centers. This role emphasizes quality care and efficient coordination with families, social workers, and the care team.

The position requires at least 1 year in a long-term care setting, with supervisory experience and knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid programs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional experience in long-term care (preferred).
• Prior supervisory experience and training.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid requirements and long-term care laws and guidelines.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, staff and external agencies.
• Must be able to plan, organize, develop and interpret programs and procedures.
• Willingness to adopt new methods and practices in nursing operations.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Give tours of the center.
• Handle daily admission calls and follow up on inquiries.
• Follow up on referrals daily and monitor bed availability.
• Coordinate hospital/home visits and perform admissions processes.
• Notify staff of new admissions and participate in census procedures.
• Maintain waiting lists and ensure accurate documentation for reimbursement.
• Act as back up to the marketing director.
