Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Houston, TX is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our onsite team. This full‑time role focuses on guiding patients and families through the admission process and coordinating benefits with payers.

You will liaise with commercial payers and workers' compensation programs, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth intake while collaborating with healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree in business or a health‑care related field preferred.
• Related admissions and medical insurance work experience will be considered in place of a degree.
• Broad knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficient data entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to function in the position with minimal supervision.
• Effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as frontline admissions advocate for patients and families.
• Coordinate admission processes and verify/check benefits with payers.
• Liaise with commercial payers and workers' compensation programs as needed.
• Collaborate with clinicians and care teams to ensure smooth patient intake and documentation.
