Job summary

River Valley Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to serve as the welcoming face for prospective residents and their families. You will manage the admissions process from inquiry to move-in, coordinating with the intake team and care staff to ensure a seamless experience.

You will conduct tours, maintain referral relationships, and drive outreach activities to meet census goals while upholding compassionate, patient-centered care values at our Oklahoma facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in admissions, customer service, or sales in healthcare or senior living.
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with electronic health records (e.g., PCC).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and professional demeanor.
• Business development or community networking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and referrals promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate admissions with Central Intake Team and Post-Acute Liaisons.
• Ensure all admissions documentation and system updates are completed accurately.
• Maintain tracking tools including lead boards and admission reports.
• Ensure rooms are prepared and welcoming prior to move-in.
• Facilitate the patient tuck-in and concierge welcome experience.
• Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.
• Oversee curb appeal and updates to patient rooms and tour spaces.
• Train team members on tour and admission experiences.
• Build relationships with referral sources and community partners.
• Document outreach in CRM or logs and maintain referral pipelines.
