Perimeter Behavioral Health of Springfield is seeking an Admissions Call Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients and families seeking mental health support. You will listen with empathy, conduct intake assessments, and help connect callers with the right level of care.

Existing staff will rely on your clear communication, documentation skills, and ability to coordinate with insurance providers and clinical teams to ensure smooth access to services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake interviews to determine appropriate levels of care
• Respond to incoming inquiry calls with empathy and professionalism
• Perform initial screenings to evaluate eligibility for services
• Assess psychosocial and emotional status, particularly for children and adolescents
• Coordinate with insurance providers and internal teams to support verification
• Facilitate communication among clinical staff, the nursing team, and business development
• Track patient placement and follow up with referral sources
• Maintain accurate documentation of interactions and assessments

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health assessment and/or treatment
• At least one year of experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting
• Background in insurance verification and medical billing
• Knowledge of healthcare systems and insurance processes

Ready to Get Started

• CPR certification, obtained within 30 days of employment
• Handle with Care or Crisis Prevention Intervention certification, obtained within 30 days of employment
• Ability to work on-site in Springfield, MO 65803

Choose the Schedule That Fits

• Full-time: 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.
• PRN: 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
