Qualifications

• Requires a Masters in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field or RN licensure.
• Two+ years of counseling experience, preferably in general psychiatric settings.
• Ability to perform crisis intervention and determine appropriate level of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person level of care determinations and crisis intervention.
• Serve as initial contact with referral sources and potential patients.
• Coordinate referral and intake process; determine and communicate level of care.
• Facilitate admission processes and maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.
