Job summary

The Center at Val Vista in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Weekend Admissions Coordinator to join our weekend pool. This fast-paced role requires a positive team member who can manage admissions, transfers, and documentation while providing compassionate patient support.

Weekend hours are Saturdays and Sundays, roughly 8:30 am to 5 pm, with duties including HIPAA compliance, EMR documentation, and coordination with the nursing and admissions teams.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass background check and drug test
• Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card
• Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare admissions strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow work schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents in accordance with established policies and procedures
• attach and document preadmission information/paperwork in the EMR system
• Abide by all HIPPA requirements - Maintain confidentiality.

• scanning, faxing, emailing, and other clerical duties as required for the job

Scheduled Hours- Saturday/Sundays approx. 8:30a-5pm depending on need.
