Job summary

The Center at Val Vista in Gilbert is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Staff member to maintain a pristine facility and support patient care in a nurse's environment. This full-time role requires weekend availability and includes day shifts with an 8-hour schedule.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, disinfecting surfaces, and maintaining common areas; prior care facility experience is preferred. Employment is in person at our Gilbert location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year housekeeping experience in a skilled care facility.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Able to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Mop and disinfect floors, beds, restrooms, and bathrooms.
• Wipe walls, phones, work stations.
• Vacuum, remove trash, dust.
• Clean dining areas.
• Floor care for carpet and hard floors.
• Assist with minor work orders and deliveries.
• Daily cleaning of patient rooms.

Currently, The Center at Val Vista is looking for Housekeeping Staff, PRN- Part Time available. Must be available to work weekends.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeping staff is to maintain the beautiful Center at Val Vista building in its new pristine state.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Mop and disinfect floors, beds, restrooms, bathrooms
• Wipe down walls, phones, work stations
• Vacuum, remove trash, dust
• Clean dining room
• Paint
• Floor care, both carpet and hard floors
• Assist with minor work orders
• Deliver shipment
• Clean patient's room on a daily basis occupied and unoccupied
• Will occasionally have to wear PPE and clean/disinfect areas that have been contaminated with bodily fluids

Education

High School diploma or GED

Experience And Specific Requirements

• Should have at least 1 year housekeeping experience in a skilled care facility
• Must be able take instruction and follow directions
• Must be a self-starter and can work as a team or independently
• Must have good communication skills and be able to read, write and speak the English language
• Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift minimum of 15 lbs, and crawl
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
